ABOUT LIORA PERINATAL

The perinatal period is a complicated time.

We can help.

We know that no two experiences are the same and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Wherever you are on your reproductive journey, we believe that you deserve compassionate, evidence-based, inclusive, and non-judgemental care. We’re here to support you through the ups and downs, the joys and the sorrows, the laughter and the tears.

Becoming a parent can be physically, mentally, and emotionally draining.

Parents today are expected to do more than ever, at a higher level, with less and less support. It’s not just “okay” to ask for help – it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself and your family.

Let us help you to build your support system.

Meet Jordanna

I’m a registered social worker and a certifying birth and postpartum doula. My passion is helping birthing people feel supported, empowered, and resilient as they navigate the perinatal journey.

When I became a first-time parent in 2019, I was shocked by so many aspects of my experience. Despite all the reading and prep classes I had done, nothing could fully prepare me for what it felt like to go through birth and postpartum in my own body. A few years later, when I had my second child, I was surprised all over again—this time by a completely different experience and a whole new set of perinatal challenges.

One of the things that mattered most to me during both of these life-changing transitions was having caring, supportive people who truly listened—people who reassured me that it was okay to not be okay. That experience shaped the way I now support others in their perinatal journey.

The perinatal period can feel isolating, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Having a strong support system can make all the difference, and I would be honoured to be a part of yours.

My work is rooted in compassionate, non-judgmental, and inclusive care. I believe in supporting the holistic well-being of birthing people, partners, and families—because none of us exist in isolation from our environment.

Through our work together, we may focus on:

✔️ Strengthening the mind-body connection

✔️ Understanding the nervous system and stress response

✔️ Expanding access to your internal and external resources

✔️ Building resilience

Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating postpartum, or adjusting to early parenthood, I’m here to support you—exactly where you are.

My Approach

Likes: I enjoy steamy coffee and steamy books, spending time with my family and friends, and finding new and fun ways to move my body.

Dislikes: I try to avoid big crowds, scented products, and CoComelon.
